Today, Ms. Laurel brought in her flamenco skirt and shoes (made in Spain, with nails hammered into the heel and toe!)
Then we watched some flamenco videos and learned to identify the different elements of the baile (dance): the palma (clapping), the taconeo (footwork), and the floreo (flourishes with the hands. See if you can identify them in the video below!
